The sculpture is symbolic, with barely discernible silhouettes and heads that are disproportionately large in relation to the figures. Only the faces are clear, full of emotion, rather ugly than beautiful, and similar to each other. (So maybe it is a family after all).

It is rare for such a statically formed group, created with such minimal means, to express such strong emotions. Looking at this sculpture, I can almost hear the voice of the smallest figure. Its message is so strong that the other two remain focused, trying not to miss a word. Perhaps this is a family, as the two large figures are a man and a woman, and the smaller one could be a child. But is it normal to listen so intently to a child's needs? Probably not. Perhaps it is more about tolerance and equality in general, that everyone should be listened to, regardless of whether they are big or small, fat or thin, white or black.

The sculpture is symbolic, the figures are barely visible, and the heads are disproportionately large in relation to the figures. Only the faces are clear, full of emotion, rather ugly than beautiful, similar to each other. (So maybe it is a family after all). The texture of the sculpture emphasizes the emotions.

I bought the sculpture in France a few years ago. If I read the signature correctly, and there is one on each figure, the artist's name is Pauke. Unfortunately, I have not found any information about him. I think the sculpture was created at the end of the 20th century. The artist was undoubtedly a professional, beautifully integrating the group through the appropriate selection of the stone base.

The figures are 23, 21, and 16 cm high without the base. The base itself is solid, 5 cm thick, and its sides are about 22 cm long.
