Buying things you know little about is always very risky. Especially women's handbags. I imagined that if someone designed for Dior, they would already be known and admired all over the world. It's not that easy. I couldn't find anything about Denise Razzouk online. I know that she designs women's bags and handbags. She is called an elite designer. The brand is Italian and well-known enough that other young, famous designers want to create under its aegis. Most of Denise's designs seem to be inspired by African art. Anyway, her name could indicate that Denise Razzouk's roots come from there. But that's just my speculation.

I bought the bag in Paris. According to the salesperson, it was designed for Christian Dior's fashion show in 1950. It is made of shiny satin fabric and entirely covered with large, colored mother-of-pearl sequins. It forms a rectangle measuring 30 by 12 cm.
