Friendly cat from Monique Sidelski

The Sidelski family, which has its roots in Lithuania, emigrated to France before the war. The artist has been running an atelier in Paris for 40 years, where she organizes sculpture workshops. It seems that her pedagogical affairs dominates over her own work, although many of her works appear in the urban landscape of Paris and other French cities.

Mrs. Monique called the presented cat "a seductive cat". According to her description it is a round, smiling cat, which came to us from a distant civilization. Metaphysical and parapsychological issues are often the subject of her various publications and a part of her atelier classes. She attaches great importance to the material from which the sculpture is made. Her favourite is clay.

The offered cat is made of bronze, is 30cm high, 29cm long and 20cm wide. Her legs are arranged in a 7cm square.
