Bogdan Świątek Awe-inspiring Bird

He is an artist at the beginning of his creative path. He tries his hand at sculpture from plaster, wood, he creates small graphic forms. He pays special attention to what he called the art of the existing form. He creates his sculptures from scrap metal found in scrap yards and dumps of materials, making sure that they best fit the creative idea, which is created when an interesting, usually metal form is found. These are not simple compilations, the artist makes sure that the material used fits perfectly into the sculpture being created.

 The content and form must constitute a unity. The bird offered is a good example of this. Made of casting forgings it almost perfectly imitates feathers in an amazing way reconciling the weight of metal with the weight of bird's down. However, it is not a bird you would like to stroke. It is an awe-inspiring bird.

It is a fairly large sculpture. 42 cm tall, 40 cm long. The rectangle forming the base is 20 x 7 x 3 cm.

I will be looking at Bogdan's hands and everything interesting from underneath will be offered in this shop. The sculpture is not signed but I guarantee an authenticity certificate from the artist.
