In his work, Szubski was above all unpretentious. The series "Faces" was created over a period of 10 years. He portrayed local residents, friends, distinctive faces, and human types. in Czechoslovakia, he received an invitation to the Biennial in São Paulo, and in 1975, the Guggenheim Museum organized an exhibition of his works. He did not return to Prague until 1997, with a large artistic output and the aura of an oppositionist.

 The lamp is simple, "poor," with an exposed reservoir and no distinct wick socket. There are far fewer of these lamps on sale.

Margit enjoyed several successes in her youth. Her work was recognized at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1937, then she received a medal at the World Exhibition in New York in 1939, and finally won a silver medal at the World Triennial in Milan in 1940.

I classify this sculpture as Art Brut. I believe that it was created by the artist spontaneously and intuitively, rather than being the result of the complex deliberations of a professional artist. But life can be full of surprises. I am happy to admit that I am wrong.

The sculpture, in keeping with the date of its creation, is made in the Art Deco style. I have no doubt about this, even though the bust does not overly emphasize the characteristics of this style.

The immediate impulse for the creation of a series of sculptures, mainly in bronze, was a photograph of a Nigerian child. The artist traveled with these sculptures to many countries around the world, sharing his pain caused by unjust and undeserved death. While reading studies on the subject, I came across the opinion that this series is one of the most outstanding Argentine sculptures of all time.
